Anna Mikolay

Pittsburgh Center for the Arts

Moving Through Stillness considers emptiness, the mind and the repetitive nature of the breath cycle through measured color fields and shapes. The painting is on a 67’ length wall that contains architectural treatments (baseboards/crown molding, exit signs etc) and negative spaces which serve as entry points to other rooms.
